Supernus Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:SUPN) marked new high the FDA gave OK for Orenitram™ (treprostinil), Extended-Release Tablets for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) in WHO Group I patients to improve exercise capacity.

Kandi Technologies Group Inc (NASDAQ:KNDI) surged about 7% after its subsidiary Zhejiang Kandi Electric Vehicles Co., Ltd. Entered into a joint venture ownership transfer pact with Shanghai Maple Guorun Automobile Co., Ltd, a company 99% owned by Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd. The company also disclosed that it expects to deliver 2,800 electric cars in its fourth quarter. Zhejiang Kandi Electric Vehicles Co. is set to pay RMB 400,000,000 (approximately USD 65,025,800) within 90 days upon signing the Agreement and the rest within 360 days after signing.

AEterna Zentaris Inc. (USA) (NASDAQ:AEZS) added 8% after the company declared the completion of its previously announced public offering of 13.1 million units, at a purchase price of $1.15 per unit. The offering was said to generate net proceeds of approximately $13.7 million, with each unit consisting of one common share and one whole warrant to purchase one common share. Each warrant is exercisable for a period of five years at an excursive price of $1.60 per share.

Coronado Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ:CNDO) was rallying after the appointment of A. Rosenwald as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Company, effective immediately. In addition, the company has appointed Mr. Michael S. Weiss as a director and Co-Vice Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors.

CME Group Inc (NASDAQ:CME) was down as the stock has gone ex-dividend on December 24, 2013. The company plans paying a cash dividend payment of $2.6 per share on January 14, 2014.
